~ THE RETURN TO INNOCENCE ~

Here is one example of the several shamanic journeys and soulretrivals I have performed on myself, with the assistance of other healers:
...
As a Shaman I can travel into my own subconscious and find the source for my discomfort in a certain event. On a Healing retreat one Saturday, we put ourselves into a deep meditative state and I began journeying in  order to find the starting point for the horrible emotion of not feeling loved by my mother – and there for always feeling scared that others won‟t love me either. I searched for this event as a way to understand and reconnect with the original feeling in order for me to let go of and heal it.

Golden threads in a perceived web had me rushed through my childhood backwards, year after year. People and places were flickering through my mind all the way back to my earliest innocence. I suddenly see myself laying as three month year old baby, waiting to be nursed and reaching for my Mum‟s breast, only to be turned away. I know from hindsight, she had been very ill from a trip to Asia and had been told that‟s why she stopped breast-feeding me at the time. But does a three month year old baby understand that? Of course not. So my mother wanted to spare me her illness out of love, yet I perceived the very action as non-love as I was turned away from both love, comfort and food! And it stayed, grew over time together with many other events in my childhood and so I was conditioned to believe I was unworthy of love.

Thirtyseven years later in 2007, sitting on a Healing retreat reliving it, had me feeling both a deep grief but also a sense of compassion and forgiveness, since my adult self very well can understand what happened and why.

And then I journeyed beyond my own manifestation and experienced the source of all creation – pure love, putting me into the Collective Heart where we all can connect and feel one with each other. Having access to the Collective Heart gives all of us a real sense of belonging and hope; a widened perspective on life to find wisdom and patience within as the everyday busyness often keeps us trapped into procrastination from really living fully. This is what a Shaman does. He/she travels into our subconscious and collective consciousness in order to make things right again and spread visions for the future.
